BIOGRAPHY

Zoe Zou is a Chinese writer/director, actress, and a former dancer who graduated from The Central Academy of Drama in 2014.

Being a stage actress, she played leading roles in Shakespeare's plays which performed at The 3rd International Theater Festival and National Centre for the Performing Arts of China.

She went to the U.S. to pursue her dream of filmmaking in 2016. During her MFA film program at Art Center College of Design, she’s written and directed many narrative short films. She also worked as an assistant to the director in the 2020 Chinese film Double World.
